Fixed Wireless Backhaul
Wireless backhaul is a mean for connecting broadband sites to the core network over the air. In the case of mobile networks, this is a common way to connect a radio access network (RAN) tail site (e.g. a base station, eNodeB/eNB or gNodeB/gNB) to the core of the mobile network – without the need to deploy optical fiber High performance antenans are a key factor for a fixed wireless product, especially the high gain for long haul solutions. WiseAnalysis has a long experience in developping antennas for various point-to-point (PtP) and point to multi-point (PtMP) backhauls within different frequency ranges in the sub-6GHz as well as mmWaves.
Sub-Terrahertz Communication (6G)
While the 5G New Radio (5G NR) network rollouts are in full swing, 6G is already starting to find its form. 6G will need a large contiguous frequency bands to meet the demand for extremely high data transfer rates in the Tbit/s range. The terahertz (THz) waves are expected to become the main technology to address this needs along with sub-6GHz and mmWaves. WiseAnalysis has a network of PhD's in applied physics and electromagnetics who can provide help using deep knowledge in photonics and Terrahertz domain including state of the art techniques in metasurfaces, optical lenses and electromagnetic modelling of electrically large periodic structures.
